This is an experiential learning and development solution for those who investigate complaints or allegations. The course is centered on a case study, which requires participants to practice the key investigation skills. During the program participants will have to plan the investigation, prepare and undertake interviews, analyse evidence and then draft part of a report.
This program will help managers to feel confident chairing case conferences and strategy meetings and understand their role and responsibilities within the safeguarding vulnerable adults process. We provide a safe and stimulating environment were participants can practice the theoretical and practical skills they have developed. This is a two-day course that takes place in house.
Program ensures that participants understand the safeguarding framework and how they fit in. Development and understanding of the language of safeguarding is explained for participants to build a foundation of knowledge and minute taking skills (listening and writing skills) are developed, so that they can work fast and efficiently.
