- Began working as Clinical Audit and Governance Officer at Bro Taf Health Authority in Cardiff. Over 10 years experience of risk management, Clinical Governance and Audit. Senior Management experience includes private industry both in the UK and abroad.
- I have instructed staff and trained staff as to best practice methods for risk management and corporate governance and also trained staff at Local Health Boards, General practice the Business Services Centres in Wales on risk management skills and methodologies, risk assessment and risk registers.
- I have assisted organisations, to develop policies and strategies to integrate risk management into the core functions of their business and to Identify best practice for risk management. Personally, I have assisted these organisations to develop training courses for all levels of staff to include risk assessment, risk control, health and safety and the management of risk registers and root cause analysis. I have developed and arranged seminars and workshops for Local Health Board staff in risk management techniques and compliance with the new NHS Healthcare standards both to raise initial awareness and to promote continuing development.
